"A Gathering of Heroes!"

All over the world, Super-Heroes are vanishing without a trace. Once all have been taken, they find themselves within a giant construct floating in space. Their captors; the Grandmaster and a shrouded female referred to as "The Unknown". The Grandmaster reveals to the heroes the purpose of this gathering: a contest between these powerful entities for the life of the Grandmaster's brother, The Collector. 24 Heroes are selected and divided into 2 teams, each to search for a piece of the "Globe of Life".
