Spectacular Spider-Man (1976) #17

"Whatever Happened to the Iceman?" – Sent to L.A. to cover the disbanding of the Champions of Los Angeles, Peter Parker is almost seriously injured when the crumbling Champions building's glass windows fall to the ground below. When the Angel flies down to see if Peter is ok, Peter manages to press him into an interview. The Angel explains to Peter the events that led to the break-up of the Champions. However, something doesn't sit right with Peter, so he decides to check things out as Spider-Man that night.
There he sees that Angel is being extorted by Stuart Clark, formally known as Rampage, and somebody wearing the Rampage armor. Spider-Man ends up fighting the man in the Rampage armor, who is under Clark's control. During the fight Angel throws a live wire at Clark causing the Rampage armor to short out and fall apart, revealing that it is Angel's teammate, Ice Man, under the armor.
